Abstract Aims Burns are usually associated with significant morbidity and mortality due to dysfunction disfigurement. Non-fatal burns contribute via burn wound infection, systemic sepsis, multiple organ failure, pneumonia etc. leading prolonged hospitalization. The objective of this study is present a systematic review the role enzymatic debridement in healing outcomes compared standard care (debridement skin grafting) adult patients burns. Methods A randomized controlled case-control studies reporting comparing Nexobrid care, published on Embase, Medline, PubMed, Google Scholar Cochrane databases period from 1946 until August 2021 was performed.
